How to get your data deleted

If you have contacted a business that uses Nolmo

The business you wrote to is responsible for your data. You can ask them directly to delete your conversation and contact details; they can do this in Nolmo. If you prefer, write to us at hei@nuto.no with the name of the business and the channel you used (for example your Instagram username or the email address you wrote from). We will verify the request, delete the data or pass the request to the business, and confirm to you within 30 days.

If you contacted a business through Facebook or Instagram

You can also use Facebook's own controls:

1. Open your Facebook Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
2. Find Nolmo and choose Remove.
3. Tick the option to also delete data Nolmo holds about you and confirm.

Facebook then sends us a deletion request. We delete the messages and profile data we hold from your Facebook or Instagram account within 30 days and give you a confirmation code you can use to check the status by writing to us.

If you are a business using Nolmo

• A single person's data: an admin can delete a contact in Nolmo. This removes the contact and their conversations from your tenant.
• A connected channel: disconnecting a Facebook Page, Instagram account or other channel stops new data from arriving. Data already received is deleted within 30 days unless you ask to keep the case history.
• Everything: when your agreement ends, or on request at any time, we delete your whole tenant, including backups, within 30 days. You can export your data first.

What deletion means

Deleted data is removed from the live service immediately and from backups within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices, and a record that a deletion request was received and carried out.
